At Smithdon High School, we recognise the pressure put upon young people during Year 11. This is why our support for Year 11 students begins as soon as possible.
Every student at Smithdon High School will enter Year 11 with a clear understanding of where they are and what they need to do to be successful. Through sitting pre-public exams at the end of Year 10, all children receive a personalised learning checklist for every subject to support their progress during their final year of school.
Parents play a key role throughout their children’s learning journey; never more so than during Year 11 which is why we meet parents regularly to review each student’s progress.
The typical timeline for Year 11 includes:

Mock Interview Day (October)
