Performance Information

Our Performance in 2016

56% of our Year 11 students achieved a C grade or better in GCSE English and Maths; this was broadly in line with the local and national average.

3% of our Year 11 students achieved the English Baccalaureate.  The English Baccalaureate is not a test or qualification; it is a measure used to provide information about a particular range of qualifications. A pupil is considered to have ‘achieved’ the English Baccalaureate if they got a grade C or better in the following subjects: English, maths, sciences, a language and either history or geography.

The average Attainment 8 score was 45.4. This score is based on how well students performed in up to 8 qualifications, which include English, maths, 3 English Baccalaureate qualifications including sciences, computer science, history, geography and languages, and 3 other additional approved qualifications.

The progress 8 score was -0.47. This score shows how much progress pupils at this school made between the end of key stage 2 and the end of key stage 4, compared to pupils across England who got similar results at the end of key stage 2. Like the Attainment 8 score, this is based on results in up to 8 qualifications, which include English, maths, 3 English Baccalaureate qualifications including sciences, computer science, history, geography and languages, and 3 other additional approved qualifications.
